He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest H. Johnson and Lola M. Johnson; and his brothers, Dr. Hiram L. Johnson (Pat) and Gary Johnson (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn; his children, Misty Fanning (Brad) of Northport, AL and Jay McClure of Chattanooga, TN; his daughter-in-law Leslie McClure of Kennesaw, GA; and his grandchildren, Riley McClure, Brady Fanning and Clay Fanning.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northwood Hills Baptist Church in honor of Chester.
