He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher P. Davis, Sr. and Catherine E. Jarvis Davis; and his sister Sheba K. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Bettie J. Davis; his daughters, Tammy Bailey (Paul) of Fayette, AL, Cathy Canterbury (Ricky) of West Blocton, AL, LaTisha Lanier (Ronnie) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Kimmery Prewitt of McCalla, AL; his sister Shelia Davis of Coker, AL; his mother-in-law Overseer Emma Hoyle of Alexander City, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Williams (Arthur) of Alexander City, AL, Earnest Hoyle (Cynthia) of Dadeville, AL and Roger Hoyle (Shenita) of Rosamond, California. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Northport Community Center (2100 Park St, Northport, AL 35476).
