He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Davis and Sadie Davis; and his siblings, Sidney Davis, Jr. (Ruby), Howard Davis (Edna), Edgar Davis, Charles Davis, Sarah Powell (Ray), Mary Lee (Curtis) and Peggy Ann Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Davis; his daughters, Toby Hamner (Jeff) and Tonya Shanahan (Tim); his sister Jean Foster (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Cornelia Davis and Evelyn Davis; his brother Albert Davis (Louise); his brother-in-law Billy Lewis; his grandchildren, Tyler Gaddy (Rachel), Brittany Deason (Michael), Cameron Hamner (Olivia), Sydney Hardin (Ashton), Taylor Thompson (Austin) and Morgan Gaddy; and his great grandchildren, Baker Gaddy, Paxton, Preston Deason, Harrison Thompson and Cooper Hardin.
