With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daisy Vail Junkin of Northport, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Colen Vail and Mary Emma Vail of Reform, Alabama.; and her husband Euteal Junkin. She is survived by: her brothers, Hobson Vail and Karl Vail; her children, Lance (Tammy), Jim (Ellen), Vanessa (John) and Dave (Nicole); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Miriam), Joshua (Devin), Joanna (Tyler), Breanne (Zach), Evan (Sloan), Clayton (Jordan) and Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Jared, Daniel, Ian, Blakeney, Shepherd, James, Maddie, Remington, Hudson and Dax. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dogwood Chapel (200 5th St NE, Aliceville, AL 35442). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
