He was predeceased by: his father Loy Piper; and his siblings, Douglas, Donald, Freddie and Joanne.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Piper; his daughters, Cindy Piper Bray, Robin Piper Smith (Jonathan) and Rebecca Colburn Sewell (Josh); his brother Daniel Piper (Ann); and his grandchildren, Christian Bray, Collin Bray, Madison Merritt, Alexis Sewell, Andi Sewell, Harper Sewell and Piper Sewell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
