It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Donald Malone of Northport, Alabama, born in Buhl, Alabama, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bura Malone and Ludie Malone; his siblings, Benny Malone, Nell Dillard and Mildred Minton Strickland; and his pet Lucy.
He is survived by : his wife Joanne Malone; his children, Michelle Koster (Bud), Monica Mims and Mike Jones (Candace); his sisters, Mary Dillard, Margie Duckworth and Brenda Posey; and his grandchildren, Mallory Cantrell (Zach), Lauren Harvey (A. J.), Allen Mims (Bethany), Bradley Mims (Jessica), Hayden, Madison, Tyler, Mattyln and Lily Brooke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tuscaloosa County Humane Society.
