He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Harry C. Darty; his grandparents, Earnley Curtis "E. C." Darty and Grace S. Darty; and his mother-in-law Debbie Merrell. He is survived by: his wife Angelia Darty; his stepson Drew McCook; his mother Bobbie Sue Darty; his aunts, May Darty and Vickie Davis; his father-in-law Alan Adams (Kathy); his sisters-in-law, Tammy Jaje (Michael) and Lisa Gray (Adam); and his nieces and nephews, Anna, Olivia, Ella Jaje, Cody, Clay Christian and Esley Gray. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Circlewood Baptist Church (2201 Loop Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
