She was predeceased by : her parents, William Lee Boling and Lula Mae Sullivan Boling; her sister Alice Joy Boling; and her grandparents, William, Norma I. Skelton Sullivan of Pickens County, Thomas and Annie Smithey Boling of Blount County, Tennessee..

She is survived by : her sons, Michael Helm (Jackie) of Illinois and Geoffrey Helm (Kathie) of Minnesota; her brother William H. "Bill" Boling of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Ian, Ethan, Sam Helm and Ava Helm; and her stepgrandchildren, Corrine and D. J. Fournier.
