Larry Montgomery Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Montgomery of Northport, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Montgomery and Vista Watson Montgomery; and his brother James Harry Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Kuykendall Montgomery; his children, Erica Zutell (Mike) and Brian Montgomery; his grandchildren, Ivy Montgomery, Rose Zutell and Reese Zutell; his brother Greg Montgomery; his nephews, Clay Montgomery (Nikki) and Cole Montgomery; and his siblings-in-law, Mark and Dana Gurganus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Hospice of West Alabama.
