He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert L. Skelton and Madie Skelton; and his siblings, W. B. Skelton, James Roy Skelton, Tom Skelton, Donald Skelton, Lois Hitt and Shirley Falls.
He is survived by : his wife Peggy Skelton; his children, Lisa S. Quinn (Brett), Michelle S. Hansford (Glen) and David Skelton, Jr. (Miranda); his siblings, Myrtle Rice, Billy Wayne Skelton and Larry Skelton; and his grandchildren, Kelly Quinn (Bobbie), Justin Quinn (Michelle), Tayler Hansford (Tori), Bo Hansford (Brittany), Austin Skelton, Carter Skelton, Madie Hansford and Corin Jenkins. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
