She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther V. Stephens and Nettie Jacobs Stephens; her sisters, Ruby Stephens Snipes (Hubert) and Onita Stephens Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Avonlea, Lily Stewart and Joseph Hale Harless.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Hale (Nancy) and Janice Hale Fields (Timothy); her granddaughters, April Hale Hicks (George), Paige Fields Stewart (Craig), Bobbi Jo Hale Perkins (Bo), Jennifer Fields Nicholson (Jason) and Aimee Fields Cowart (Todd); and her husband Robert Junior Hale. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
