She was predeceased by: her father Arthur A. Burgess; her husband Marvin Aubrey Norris; her mother Nan Burgess; and her siblings, Jerry, Joe, Jimmy, Ronnie Burgess and Carol Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Huie (Bert) of Tennessee, Dana Hoyle (Jeff) of Tuscaloosa and Tanya Simmons (Michael) of Northport; and her grandchildren, Justin Hoyle (Kelcie), Trent Huie (Jessica), Kate Campbell (Garrett), Lindsey Hoyle, Shelby Simmons, Courtney Christian (Parker), Kasey Phillips (Austin) and Tyler Simmons. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 2 beloved pets, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at the Union Chapel Cemetery.
