It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Randy Haynie of Northport, Alabama, born in Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Rachel Haynie; and his nephew JD Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Tina Jo Haynie of Northport; his son Chadwick Wayne Haynie (Mary Kathryn) of Northport; his stepson Christopher Goodbread of College Park, Georgia; his siblings, Debbie Hall of Pasadena, Sue Taylor (Jack) of Crawfordsville, Indiana and David Haynie (Stephanie) of Pasadena, Texas; his father David Wayne Haynie (Peggy) of Oxford, Mississippi; and his siblings' children, Brandon Wheeler (Holly), Kristen McGaughey (Jordan), Chelsea Dunn (Darren), Sean Hall, Sarah Haynie, Walker Bruce and Dayton Bruce.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Tuscaloosa (6120 Watermelon Rd, Northport, AL 35473).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the RISE Center at the University of Alabama in memory of Randy Haynie.
