It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Malone of Northport, Alabama, born in Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, U. T. Williams and Lillian Williams; her siblings, Ely Williams, Robert Williams, Gerald Williams, Lynnis Williams and Vastie Abernathy; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin Williams and Paulene Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Newton M. Malone; her daughter Darlene M. Davis (Don); her siblings, Grace Cargile (James), Catherine Williams and Roy Williams; her grandchildren, Noah Davis, Nick Davis, Adam Davis and Aly Davis; and her sister-in-law Shirley Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northport Methodist Church, Hospice of West Alabama, or Children's Hospital of Alabama.
