With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Uptain of Oakman, Alabama, who passed away on May 18, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Marcelle Thomason Uptain; his grandparents, Vera Estell Medley, Willie F. Uptain and Emma W. Uptain; and his stepmother Carllera "Cooney" Uptain.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Uptain; his father Leon Loyd Uptain; his daughter Danielle Uptain (Brandon); and his siblings, Barbara Otts (Mark), Tammy Burrow (Randy), Paul Uptain (Michelle), David Uptain (Joann) and Ray Otts (Pamela). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
