As Roger departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roger. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Patton and Mae Patton; and his siblings, Robert, Harold, Jerry, Mitchell, Wilma Lee Johnson, Gene Harris, Martha Patton and Gloria Karrh.
He is survived by: his sister Gail Griffin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Walker Memory Gardens (692 AL-5, Jasper, AL 35503).
