With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robert Crim of Odenville, Alabama, born in Fairfield, Alabama, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Crim and Odell Crim; and his siblings, Betty Hyche, Helen Carter and Gary Crim.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Stephanie (Clif) and Stephen (Jill); his grandchildren, Boyer and Cortlandt; and his pets, Buddy, Guinevere and Tutu.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Disabled American Veterans.
