He is survived by: his wife Mary Garland; his children, David Allen Garland, Carrie Garland, Kandi Garland, Kathy Bennett and Kimberly Martin; and his siblings, Ed Garland, Sonny McGraw, Sue Chambliss and Judy Story. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
