He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie Hambright; his daughter Juanita Crawford; his parents, J. C. Gray and Lora Hambright Gray; his siblings, J. W. Webb and Patricia Gray; his siblings-in-law, Walter Woods and Alice J. Edmondson; and his nephews, Edward Woods and Robert Fields.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Michele Hambright Bowie (Kivie), Aunastasia Hambright (Julius), Katrell Hambright and Frank Hambright Woods; his grandchildren, Latosha Chatman, Kara Bowie, Ryauna Hambright, Victoria Hambright, Legend Robinson, Natylia Hambright Bowie, Kamiyah Chatman, Kortaévion Chatman, Xavier Vinson and Kario Veal; his great grandchildren, Kiren Bowie Adams and Alexander Bowie; his sister Shirley McDaniel; his brother-in-law Willie Woods; Disiree "Candy" Beverett. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Funeral Home (3865 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
