It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Junior Pointer of Ohatchee, Alabama, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Samantha "Pookie" Pointer; and his siblings, Joyce Jerrells, Aree Pointer, Jackie Thomas and Jean Strickland.

He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Pointer and Jonah Shaw (Taylor); his grandchildren, Makinlee Pointer and Taylie Shaw; and his siblings, Roger Pointer, Raymond Pointer, Margie White and Lois "Sissy" Lara.
