She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Briggie; her daughters, Bonita Colvin and Gatha Cardinal (Jim); and her parents, Alex Goode and Lizzie Goode.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ryan Burns (Jeremy), Michele Colvin, Kevin Colvin (Aimee), Kenneth Colvin (Nilawan) and Kendall Hester; her great grandchildren, Hope Brown (Tyler), Lauren Burns and Lincoln Burns; her great great grandchild Taylor Brown; her brother-in-law Bob Briggie (Ann); her nephew Mike Howard (Cynthia); her niece Keitha Wicklund; and her son-in-law Scottie Colvin. She is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oak Bowery Baptist Church (3300 AL-144, Ohatchee, AL 36271). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Middleton Presbyterian Cemetery (215 Middleton Rd S, Ohatchee, AL 36271).
