It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra R. Wells of Ohatchee, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Sandra shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sandra farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Richey and Edna Richey; and her husband Reverand J. B. Wells. She is survived by: her son Stacy Wells (Wendy); her grandchildren, Sierra Wells and Tanner Wells; and her caregiver Brenda Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (3975 AL-77, Gadsden, AL 35907). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
