He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyrus Roemeling and Ruby Roemeling (Carrie); and his siblings, Douglas, Ronald, Butch, Betty Lou, Gloria, Frances and Darlene.

He is survived by : his wife Sadie; his children, Kermit Roemeling (Lori), Sioux Falls, Dallas Roemeling (Sarah) of Portland, OR. and Denise Roemeling of Sioux Falls, SD.; his grandsons, Oliver Miller and Kurt Reichlt; his stepdaughters, Sheila Everhart and LaDonna Murhpee; and his siblings, Robert Greve (Marlene), Curt Roemeling (Diane), Charleen Feekes, Sandra Buss, Rhonda Archer (Ken), Rebecca Nuwash (Bruce), Dawn Chance (Rich) and Kris Curtis (Joe).
