He is survived by : his nephews, Donnie Waid and Jamie Henderson; and his siblings, Glenn Waid of Bremen, GA., Valra Henderson, Jesse Waid, Lorene Hill (Eddy), Anita Woods (Dale), Ida Sue Moore (James), Opal Owen (Greg) and Karyn Turner (Brad).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
