She was predeceased by : her parents, George Cooper and Ellen Pate Cooper; her siblings, Melvin, Ardel, Grady Cooper and Ruby Cooper; and her husbands, Alfred Engle (Charles Payne) and R. J. Daily.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Engle (Cecilia) and Lisa Reeves; her grandchildren, Stephanie Waite (Matt), T. J. Engle, Shelby Reeves and Travis Spires (Ari); and her great grandchildren, Zoey Waite, Jakob and Joseph Spires.
