He is survived by: his wife Carol Shelton Puckett; his son Dan Puckett; his granddaughter Mabel Elise Puckett; his daughter-in-law Heather Puckett; his nephews, Patrick Boren, Jim Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Bob Mitchell and Jeff Mitchell; and his stepsons, Eddie Woodard and Robert Woodard.
