With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Moody of Oneonta, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Colley and Lorene Bearden (Lester Moody); her son Kevin Moody; and her sister Betty Colley. She is survived by: her sons, Grady Morton, Frank Morton, Kerry Moody (Angel) and Ray Moody; her siblings, Diane Harris, Martha Bearden (Mike), Wanda Clinkscales (John), Wayne Colley (Kay) and David Bearden (Shelia); and her grandchildren, Emily Morton, Brandy Moody and Gracelyn Moody. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
