It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Cleveland of Oneonta, Alabama is shared. Joan, born on August 1, 1943, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Wayne Cleveland; her parents, Bernard Horton and Genie Mae Horton; and her sister Norma Lee Osborn. She is survived by: her son Jonathan Cleveland (Charity); her granddaughters, Ella Cleveland and Lyla Cleveland; and her sister Judy White (Harold).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Blount County Education Foundation.
