It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Carrizales Zuniga of Oneonta, Alabama, who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Foilan Carrizales and Dimas Zuniga; his sisters, Abrahna Carrizales, Consuelo Carrizales and Martina Carrizales; and his nephew Magdaleno Hernandez.
He is survived by: his brothers, Filiberto Carrizales, Victoriano Carrizales and Urbano Carrizales; his siblings' children, Crescencio Hernandez, Edelmira Hernandez, Placido Carrizales, Rosa Hernandez, Cruz Hernandez, Martina Hernandez, Zenona Hernandez, Tomas Hernandez and Malcos Hernandez; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Crescencio Hernandez Jr. (Abigail Pineda), Gina Adelina Hernandez, Pricila Hernandez, Erika Hernandez, Emalyn Hernandez, Luca Hernandez and Jose Armando Grimaldo.
