As Karen Faye departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Karen Faye may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Karen Faye leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. C. Martin and Emma Killough Martin; her brother Larry Martin; and her grandsons, L. J. Milam and Sloan Shoebridge.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Sloan (Craig), Marlina Teal (Paul), Tracy Crowe and Rusty Milam (Mary); her sisters, Brenda Hawkins and Elaine Phillips; and her niece Joyce Blythe. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
