Though Leonard Ellison may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leonard Ellison touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellison Lincoln and Amy Ruth Henderson Milam; his siblings, Shirley Gladden (Chester), Charlotte Studdard (Jimmy) and Tommy Milam (Donna); and his brother-in-law Kenneth Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Gillihan Milam; his daughters, Sheila Calvert (Dean) and Tammy Hutchens (Mike); and his sister Maxine Reeves. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
