With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loyd C. Arrington (Oneonta, Alabama), who passed away on October 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew C. Arrington and Pauline Arrington; his wife Norma Hodges Arrington; and his sister-in-law Susan Stephenson. He is survived by: his sons, Andrew D. Arrington (Darien) and L. Steven Arrington (Adrian); his brother Alan Arrington (Sherry); his sisters-in-law, Nancy Simmons (Douglas) and Shirley Thomason (Michael); his grandsons, Grant Arrington and Grey Arrington; and his sibling's children, Noelle Moon (Chris), Brooke Antonakos (Tyler), Regina Herron (Roger), Jessica Simmons (Justin), Rodney Simmons, Mark Fowler and Bret Stephenson (Alicia).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 1123 Pine Grove Rd, Rosa, AL 35121. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Oneonta, Alabama (1133 Pine Grove Rd, Rosa, AL 35121).
