He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Marie Wilson Vaughn (Will) and Emma Rose Wilson; his granddaughter Vivian Rose Tolbert; his siblings, Cynthia Self (Tom), Patricia Johnson (Joe) and Robert Wilson (Gidgett); his siblings' children, Chris Self (Erica), Barbara Self Whitehead, Will Self, Margaret Self Battles (Bo), Chris Johnson (Merideth), Anna Stainback (Anthony), Kristan Morales (Gabe) and Will Wilson; and his close friend Lisa Whittington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
