She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Burton Sr. and Sara Tolbert Burton. She is survived by: her husband Thomas D. Self; her children, Tony (Tanya), Wes (Lori) and Niki (Trey); and her grandchildren, Brooke, Carley, Emma, Bonnie, Bryce, Maeghan, Christian, Danielle and Jacob. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
