With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtle Thomas (Oneonta, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Houston Thomas Sr.; her daughter Shirley Seitz; her grandchildren, Michelle Sissom and Mike Thomas; her daughter-in-law Lorene Thomas; and her parents, Joe Hayes and Luddie Hayes.
She is survived by: her sons, Chester Thomas (Sherry) and Rickey Thomas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 9 great great grand children.
