It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Dennis Hopewell (Oneonta, Alabama), born in Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She is survived by: her husband William C. Hopewell; her children, Ashley Crosland (John) and Elizabeth Fowle Jr. (Daniel); and her grandsons, James, Andrew Crosland and Daniel Fowle III.
