She was predeceased by: her husband George Watkins; her son Johnny Watkins; her grandchildren, Shannon Watkins and Heather Resendez; her parents, Early Robertson and Ella Lee Robertson; and her siblings, Wynette Waddle, J. D. Robertson, Coabie Robertson and Sue Parker Trammell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cecilia Hicks (Gary) and Mary Headley (Wally); her grandchildren, Scott Watkins (Bridget), Beth Hicks Taylor (Chad), Cathy Hicks and Carrie Russell (Jeremy); and her sister Faynell Tidwell. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Oneonta First Baptist Church.
