Though Otha may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha James Phillips and Vera Lucille Thomas Phillips. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Banks (Mitchel) and Sandy Blackmon (Shane); his granddaughter BreAnna Strange; his great grandchild Lena Strange; and his siblings, Delores Hawkins (George), Jimmy Phillips (Mavis), Glenn Phillips (Tina) and Phillip Phillips (Ann).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
