Mize and Hudson James Moore; her grandchildren, Ginger Michelle Logan Wills and Grant Bradford Mize; her parents, Grant Cornelius Sr. and Jewell Phillips Cornelius; her siblings, Grant Cornelius Jr., Ellen Cornelius Morris and Kenneth Cornelius; and her sisters-in-law, Violet Cornelius and Jane Parker Cornelius.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Jeffery Mize (Linda Youngblood) of Dallas, TX., Mark Anthony Mize "Tony" (Shirley) of Hartselle, AL., Peggy Marie Mize Youngblood (Kenneth) of West Jefferson, AL., Charles Lynn Mize "Chuck" of Oneonta, AL. and Angela Lee Moore Gardner (Chris) of Oneonta, AL.; her brother Gary Cornelius (Sharon) of Huston, TX.; and her grandchildren, Brandon Mize Cates, Anthony Mize (Merideth), Heath Logan (Felisha), Dustin Mize (Genna), Luke Mize, Adam Logan, Jamie Youngblood (Jena), Wesley Smith, Jeffery Mize, Brent Mize (Mandy), Ava Mize, Raven Youngblood and Lea Prince Hyatt (Adam). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
