She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Janet Smith, Joel T McKay and Pearl McKay. She is survived by: her parents, Jeffrey Wayne Smith (Theresa) and Shirley Buckner (Dennis Buckner); her grandfather Rayburn Smith; her sister Shree Miller (Eric); her nieces, Mia Miller and Lynlee Miller "Squirrel"; her brothers, Harley Buckner and Brian Alexandar (Kim); her nephews, Carter and Brady; and her aunts and uncles, Phillip Smith (Melinda), Jojo and Ken.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to support research and development to cure juvenile diabetes.
