She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. J. R. Priester (Buddy); her son John Bruce Priester of Midway, AL; her siblings, John G. Little, Jr. of Greenville, AL and Nina Little MacGuire of Greenville, AL.; her niece Pat Norman of Jacksonville, AL.; and her mother J. G. Little.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kevin O'Brien Bennett (Katie) of Elizabethton, TN, Robert Priester Bennett of Washington, DC, James Luke Bennett (Courtney) of Florence, AL, Carrie Whitt Garcia (Michael) of Titus, AL, Joseph Thurston Whitt (Sabrina) of Pelham, AL, Catherine Priester Billor (Deniscan) of Seattle, WA, Martha Priester Swann (Steven) of Waverly, AL, Forrest Jackson Priester (Kimberly Rose) of Waverly, Caroline Dulaney Nette (Aaron) of Camp Pendleton, CA and James "Jay" Reeder Dulaney of Franklin, TN; her great grandchildren, Tucker, Kyrie Joy, Evan, Ryan, Eleah, Rhett, Asher, Norah Beth, Joanna, Will Bennett, Virginia Wynn, Grace Louise Garcia, Aila Nette and Billor; and her sister Iris Little Norman of Greenville, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
