He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wilson of Opelika, AL; his daughters, LaTyra Freeman of Opelika, AL and Casheta Lockhart of Lexington Park, MD; his grandchildren, Pateon Patrick, Parker Patrick, Cameron Lockhart and Cashton Lockhart; his sister Pamela White (Gregory) of Newnan, GA; his mother-in-law Princella Owens of Auburn, AL; his siblings-in-law, Ayesha Burns of Opelika, AL, Louise Carlton (Walter) of Auburn, AL, Flora Gibson (Pastor James) of Auburn, AL, Glenda Lockhart (Tony) of Auburn, AL, Angela Caldwell (Maurice) of Atlanta, GA, Jessie Wright of Auburn, AL, David Owens (Kathryn) of Atlanta, GA, Willie Owens (Cynthia) of Auburn, AL, Anthony Owens (Glenda) of Auburn, AL and Tyrone Owens (Beronica) of Auburn, AL; and his friends, Randy Benson and Kevin Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (515 S 6th St, Opelika, AL 36801).
