With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Starr (Opelika, Alabama), who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Beverly farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Beverly is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Richard David Starr; her children, Christopher Michael Starr (Catherine) and Melissa Ann Starr; her grandson Jackson H. Starr; and her pet Gus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Town Creek Cemetery (1150 S Gay St, Auburn, AL 36830).
The family request that in lieu of Flowers that donations be made to The Bethany House, Hospice Angles Foundation/ Compassus Living Foundation.
