He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ward Brazeal; his son Patrick Shivers (Aubryn); his stepdaughter April Henley (Scott); his grandchildren, Hanna, Halie, Bryce Henley, John Patrick and Blade Shivers; and his brother Charles Brazeal (Anita).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
