He is survived by: his wife Earnestine Johnson of Opelika, AL; his children, Joseph Foreman (Kimberly) of Opelika, AL, Kim Foreman of Opelika, AL, Lisa Stevenson (Ron) of Opelika, AL and Dennis Johnson, Jr. of Opelika, AL; his grandchildren, Tiana, Quentavious, LaDarius, Nashavia, Shanavia, Kierra, Kiandra, Shamya, Antavious, Amani, Roniyah, Joseph and Azaria; his daughters, Takelia Lilly (Ronnie) of Opelika, AL and Tameika Pinkard of Opelika, AL; his siblings, Bishop Larry Johnson (Nakel) of Camp Hill, AL, Jerry Johnson of Opelika, AL, Michael Johnson (Beverly) of Opelika, AL, May Sue Hollins (John) of Atlanta, GA, Betty Nunn, Judy Diane Thomas, Sharon Hall (JW) of Opelika, AL and Shirley Dowdell of Opelika, AL; his aunt Dorothy Jean Johnson of Opelika, AL; his sisters-in-law, Johnnie Kate Ingram of Opelika, AL, Carrie Johnson of Opelika, AL, Alice Johnson of Opelika, AL and Annie Ruth Johnson of Beulah, AL; and his close friend Tyrone Harvey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (515 S 6th St, Opelika, AL 36801).
