With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florine Perry Clarke of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on December 17, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Florine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Florine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clancey Floyd Perry and Flora Carolyn Odgen Perry; and her husband Bill Clarke. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Spears, Jr. (Autumn) and Carolyn Wilson (Roy); her stepsons, Elbert Clarke of Cullman, AL and Richard Clarke (Pam) of Memphis, TN; and her granddaughters, Heather Smith, Meghan Burmester, Christina Booth, Stephanie Falloway and Summer Keli Spears. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
