He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Jernigan and Nina Jernigan. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Jernigan of Auburn and Jessica Jernigan of Birmingham; his siblings, Gayle Rogers of Montgomery, Cindy McKelvey (Ian) of Colorado Springs and Mark Jernigan (Kelli) of Ozark; his aunts, Janice Black (Larry) of Canada and Theresa Jernigan of Ariton; and his fiancée Theresa Jablecki-Kriel. He is also survived by many cousins, three nieces, and four nephews.
