She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mothers, Drewry Hampton Morris, III of Geneva and Pallie Casey Brown Morris; her brother Drewry Hampton Morris IV of Auburn; her husband Bobby Denson Smith; her daughter Stella; her son-in-law Penn Winston Rooker, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; her son Morris Denson Smith; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Blue Smith of Opelika, Alabama; her grandchildren, Brittany Rooker Wash (Zack) of Nashville, Robert "Bobby" Winston Rooker (Emily) of Atlanta, Foster Blue Hulsey and Elvie Marie Smith of Opelika, Alabama; and her great grandchild Walker Winston Wash of Nashville, Tennessee. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Opelika United Methodist Church or Compassus Auburn Bethany House Inpatient Hospice.
