She is survived by: her children, Lula Hillery of Austell, GA, Robert Houston of Opelika, AL and Walter Houston (Joyce) of Rocky Mountain, NC; her grandchildren, Fanchette Danmola (Razak), Sharon Greene (Vernon), Robert Houston, Jr., Natasha Houston-Chapman, Elvernardo Dexter and Tikelia Jenkins (McKinley); and her great grandchildren, Ashia Middletown, Chelsey Walker (Nelson), Christopher Greene, Robert Houston III, Najah Houston and Joel A. Danmola. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Viewing was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Transfiguration Church (3125 Wyndham Industrial Dr, Opelika, AL 36804). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
