It is with sadness that the passing of Judith P. Buda (Opelika, Alabama) is shared. Judith, born on February 1, 1944 in San Luis Obispo, California, passed away on October 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Judith will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Judith by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Judith is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Judith’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Marcus Parvey and Christian Parvey. She is survived by: her husband Frank A. Buda; and her sons, Marcus F. Buda and Kristopher L. Buda.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In keeping with one of Judith's final wishes, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Lee County Humane Society in Alabama or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
